NTT Group’s ICT branch NTT Comm has partnered with Filipino operator PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company) which will bring NTT Comm’s enterprise-grade infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solution to PLDT’s enterprise customers.
The Enterprise Cloud services are scheduled for launch in or after September. The solution enables enterprises to virtually access their individualised customer portal to configure virtual data centres. It is available via multiple servers in numerous international locations, including Japan, US, UK, Germany, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, totalling nine countries and 11 data centre locations.
PLDT will provide globally standardised IaaS services combining Enterprise Cloud and its own network services for Philippine-based enterprises. The enterprises will use these services to develop new solutions for global operations, especially in countries where NTT Com’s cloud is present, and to strengthen business continuity using NTT Com resources outside the Philippines.
