Ooredoo Palestine has upgraded and expanded its multi-year software and support agreement with Optiva Inc.
Dr. Durgham Maraee, CEO of Ooredoo Palestine, said: “By partnering with Optiva, we have been able to utilise their real-time monetisation capabilities and offer superior, flexible and innovative products, services and tariffs to our customers. As a result, we are working to provide our customers with best journey and experience they can get from a telecom operator.”
At the end of September 2018, Ooredoo Palestine had increased its subscriber base by 57% year-on-year to 1.3 million, and its revenue increased 19% over the same period. It launched services in Gaza in October 2017, then brought 3G services to the West Bank in January 2018.
Ooredoo Palestine has been an Optiva customer since 2014, prior to its rebrand from Wataniya Mobile Palestine.
“Given the competition and volatility in their market, Ooredoo Palestine must select partners that will assist them to design plans that are optimised for growth. With our Business Value consulting team and our product offering, Ooredoo Palestine is able to quickly react to the changing market and drive new growth for their business,” said Danielle Royston, CEO of Optiva.
