Tango Telecom, which provides advanced messaging, real-time charging and policy control solutions, has won contracts to deploy its advanced iAX SMS technology with Zain's Ghana and Madagascar mobile networks.
iAX SMS enables prepaid and postpaid charging, and storage and delivery of A2P, P2P and P2A messages, while enabling advanced revenue-generating messaging services from a single high performance platform. The solution is deployed on the proven Tango iAX Platform, a platform which is at the core of some of the highest capacity SMS networks worldwide.
iAX SMS can be extended to offer revenue generating and VAS services such as SMS broadcast, SMS router and content management services, anti-bullying, anti-spam, SMS advertising and a range of other VAS features. The Tango iAX platform enables interoperability between all network types, IP/WiMax, GSM and CDMA, so as to ensure future proofing of the investment for the operators as they expand and enhance their network coverage.
